Kunzite
This is a wonderful stone to put near the
heart, especially when you use it as a pendant, a brooch, pin, or even wear
it in a pouch around your neck. Kunzite grows with a striated structure,
resembling the tourmaline-which means that the electrical impulses run the
length of the crystal.
This stone relieves old sufferings by acting like a sword of light and truth. It counters pain within the heart. In order to understand how the stone relieves pain, think of the images of Mary or Jesus in which we see swords through their hearts-for kunzite removes pain with a sword-like energy. The deeper shades of color (deeper pink edges) raise the emotions of the heart to a higher level of spirit, so that we can let go of our personal sufferings and face the infinite love of spirit. The stone comes in many colors: you can use green, blue, or the almost clear version, but my favorite shade is pink.
